The ATF Professional Vehicle Recycling Awards, organised by ATF Professional, will be held at the British Motor Museum, Warwickshire, on November 9th. One specific award, the Recycled Vehicle Parts User Award, will recognise the efforts of body shops and reused parts users who are helping to promote the use of reused vehicle parts and reduce the environmental impact of the automotive industry.
"We are delighted to be hosting the ATF Professional Vehicle Recycling Awards at the British Motor Museum," said Haydn Davies, Director of ARW-GROUP LIMITED. "This is a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the UK Vehicle Recycling Community and those that support sustainability through the reuse of parts which has grown over the last several years.
"Entering the awards is free, and we are looking for entries from body shops, insurance companies and reused parts users who have demonstrated a commitment to using green parts," said Davies. "We want to hear from the many companies who are encouraging the use of, and/or are using green parts and how they are being incorporated within the automotive industry. The rise in the use of green parts is an integral part of the UK vehicle recycling industry, and it seems an obvious choice to recognise and applaud those who use recycled vehicle parts."
The awards will be judged by a panel of experts, and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the British Motor Museum on November 9th. The dinner will provide a host of entertainment and plenty of opportunities to network and celebrate the role that vehicle recycling plays in the 21st century.
"We are expecting a high standard of entries this year," added Davies. "I encourage body shops, insurance companies and reused parts users to enter the awards and show the world how they are making a difference to the environment."
The deadline for entries is September 8th. To enter, visit www.atfpro.co.uk/awards.
