An IAEA CPD session on the use of Graphene in automotive applications
Dr Mark A Bissett, National Graphene Institute, University of Manchester
Date: 1st September 2022
Time: 18.30
Venue: Zoom
Session details
Advanced materials, such as graphene, are becoming increasingly prominent in automotive applications ranging from energy storage technology to mechanical reinforcement for composite bodywork. This presentation will introduce what nanomaterials (such as graphene) are and how they have already begun to transition from the lab into the supply chain for a diverse range of applications.
Dr Mark A Bissett
Dr Mark A Bissett is a Reader in Nanomaterials at the National Graphene Institute, University of Manchester. He leads an academic research group with both government and industrial funding to look at the integration of materials such as graphene into electrochemical energy storage applications as well as polymer nanocomposites.
