Exam cancellation requests received no later than 28 days before the exam will be moved free of charge to the next available exam session.

Within 28 days of the exam/assessment, the booking will only be transferred free of charge where there is supporting medical or other expert evidence, all other requests are subject to a £80 cancellation/rebooking fee for Written Exams and £100 for the Oral Exam.
Illness, accident or other event beyond the candidate's control.
In the event that a candidate is unable to attend an exam due to illness, accident or other event beyond their control, a request may be submitted for the entry to be transferred to the next available exam session without any financial penalty.
The request must be made in writing, enclosing expert evidence from a doctor or suitably qualified/affiliated professional, confirming that the candidate is unable to attend the exam on the relevant date due to the illness, accident or incident. Applications without suitable expert evidence will not be considered, please note that self-certification is not acceptable and the IAEA are not responsible for any costs involved in obtaining medical evidence

Exam fees will not be refunded or the rebooking fee waived for any other reason within 28 days of the exam/assessment.
